Do not register your domain name with the hosting company.
A domain name is under $10 per year. No one will register the name for
free. You are paying for it in some way.
Hosting is about $50 per year.
If you want to go cheaper, then you'll have to accept ads.
What are your expectations? What do you want to accomplish? Define
your audience. That puts this discussion on-topic.
