Thanks so much to Jason, Kim, Judd, Ed, Michele, and everyone one else
who responded to my request on this topic, especially Lou Quillio.

I got a large range of suggestions, though some were standard (be sure
you'll own the domain name :-).

I just started using Bluehost.com.  Pretty inexpensive.  I also verified
that YOU own the domain name once it is registered, so you can take it
to
another company if you want. (Some registration companies actually own

name and "lease" it to you.  Pretty shady.)

Plus, they have a lot of doo-dads (like CMS, blogging, mail list) that
you
can install on your site with a simple click of the mouse.
