Another thing that seems to help is to do some quick exercises a few
minutes before the call. Situps, running on the spot, a few minutes on
the exercise bike -- anything that gets adrenalin into you. Some actors
use this trick before they go on stage or in front of the camera. I'mn
told that it's especially effective for a voice-only performance.
