Hi Sharon,
If your client will be updating the document after you give it to them,
I'd send it as a PDF that they can open in Illustrator. Then I'd also
export the text in the PageMaker document as RTF and send them that as
well. That way, if they have to make text changes to the Illustrator file,
they can put the text in the PDF on a layer where it can serve as a
template. They can copy and paste the RTF text into text blocks in
Illustrator that can be sized using the template layer as a guide.
Cumbersome, but that's pretty much all you can do with the set-up you guys
have.
