> * I have a private office
Well, I'm a manager. But in this particular office, Engineering is a
sea of offices. There are no cubes. Each office is designed for 2-3
people on the outer walls of the building (windows), and the interior
offices range in size (usually slightly smaller than the outer
offices) and are reserved mainly for single-occupant managers,
directors, and the like (no windows).
My favorite work living space... I was 22-24, and had my own large
private office with a wall of windows and 2 doors... one went to the
office hallway, and the other went out to a huge patio with patio
furniture and overlooked a marina and brackish stream. :-)
