Both. I'm really trying to get a handle on the extent of the problem.
Maybe it's not really that much of a problem in the tech communication
world. I think that the topic of spelling is more of an English language
thing and I do appreciate those posts to this thread that touch on the
linguistics of the topic. But what I want to learn is the extent of the
problem in English technical communication.
