Hi Bonnie,

Tried both of those ideas this AM, each by itself and in various
combinations. Maybe "it should work," but it doesn't.

Again, I suspect that the answer is buried in the registry. The Folder
Option settings should be reflected in the registry -- maybe some other
registry setting is overriding them.

Anyone have a favorite HKEY path to suggest?
