Another outgrowth of the Mozilla Foundation work on Firefox and
Thunderbird is NVu.

This is a WYSIWYG HTML editor that aims eventually to be a direct
competitor for Dreamweaver--although at version 1.0, it does have a
way to go.

However, it's quite easy to use and you may find it helpful...and,
since it's free, you can't beat the cost!

There's an extension available that represents a beginner's tutorial,
and a few others also available from the download page.
