I was thinking that the only time I remember seeing it (and I don't have
it on this machine to double-check) is when building self-compiling
modules for Access and SQL databases. If memory serves, the ellipsis key
was used to manually build code routines that could be added into
pre-fabricated segments of code.
One thing I don't remember seeing in the original post and I don't
recall anyone asking (to be fair I have skimmed many posts, so I might
have missed it) is what _exactly_ the (...) key is being used for in the
software being documented. I don't know if that has any bearing at all
on the way one would reference it.
