You should probably read up on the capabilities of Notes/Domino to find
out if it has the ability to search through files. If it doesn't out of
the box, maybe a Notes programmer can help.

There must be a Notes database administrator (DBA) you can talk to...ask
him or her what it can do.

This is a good opportunity for training...find out about what courses you
should be taking (Notes user, administration, database design). And have
your boss support you in getting what you need.
