Just a point: be careful of which jurisdiction you try to use your
computer "engineering" certifications in. The Quebec Order of Professional
Engineers (OIQ) in conjunction with the Canadian Order just won a court
case against Microsoft for there use of the title "engineer" in their
certification programs.

They will also actively prosecute individuals doing business under the
title of engineer if they are not a member of the Order with a recognised
Engineering degree.
