Subject:RE: Getting a Visio drawing into a Word document From:"Dan Goldstein" <DGoldstein -at- riverainmedical -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Mon, 18 Jul 2005 11:38:11 -0400
Geetanjali's method is equivalent to Insert|Object in Word, and it works
fine in most situations.
But if you don't plan to edit or update the object, the following gives
a much smaller Word file size:
1. Save the Visio drawing as a WMF file.
2. In Word, Insert|Picture|From File to insert the WMF.
Just like inserted objects, WMF files resize in Word without getting all
pixelated.
