Re: New TECHWR-L Poll Question - Why discuss certification?
Why do you think people want to discuss a tech writing certification? A desire to:
* Improve the image of the tech writing field
* Improve the quality of documentation produced
* Keep unqualified people out of the few avail. jobs
* Enhance the impact of tech writers on products
* Improve productivity
* Affect direction of undergrad TW education
* Positively affect the bottom line
* Establish recognized minimum competency
* Promote product usability
* Other/None of the above
