Rockwell-Collins is a spin-off that manufactures in-flight
communications and entertainment systems (the original
co was called Collins Radio before Rockwell acquired them). I Interviewed with them back in 2003 but it never went anywhere. Their office in SoCal was like stepping through a time warp into a typical aircraft/aerospace defense contractor of the 1970's, except with the addition of desktop PCs.
