I certainly wouldn't call myself a Frame expert but here is what I would do:
-Set the Alignment to Center on the Basic tab in the CellBody paragraph
designer.
-Insert the Anchored Frame, then set the frame's position to "At Insertion
Point".
-Import the graphic.
-With the graphic selected, choose Align on the Graphics menu, then set
Top/Bottom to T/B Centers and Left/Right to L/R Centers.
If you want to center the frame vertically within the cell, set Cell
Vertical Alignment to Middle on the Table Cell tab in the CellBody paragraph
designer.
I don't know if this is easier or more efficient than your current method,
but it may at least save a tree or two. :)
