This is easy enough to do. Let's say you have the following sentence:

Click here to e-mail technical support.

And let's say you want the word "here" to be a hyperlink that sends an e-mail to support -at- xyz -dot- com -dot-
1. Click somewhere within the word "here" - say, in between the h and the e.

2. Insert a Go to URL hypertext marker with the following marker value:

message URL mailto:support -at- xyz -dot- com

3. Apply a character tag to the word "here", *including* the hypertext marker. You can use any character tag at all; it doesn't have to change the formatting if you don't want it to. The character tag tells FrameMaker where the clickable region begins and ends. We usually use a tag named Link that applies blue underlined formating.

That's all there is to it.
