TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
This is great stuff. Do you know how much of this applies to or is used
by the industry in the US? I should clarify that I work in
telephony/voice recognition applications, so networking, advanced
telecom, and wireless is not as important. I want the terminology that
customer service organizations use.
I appreciate all the work you did to get this together. Tech writing is
truly a worldwide profession!

PS - Is it really true that your UK sales office building is named
*Ziggurat*! I'd love to work there!

Subject: Re:tech writing standards
Here are a few standards (from ISTC web site) that may be of
use/interest. Mix of general and tech comm standards plus info on where
you can get them. Bit British/European orientated but may still be
useful.
