Subject:Carpal tunnel or RSI From:Brian Gordon <elasticsoul2003 -at- yahoo -dot- ca> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 30 Aug 2005 18:10:18 -0400 (EDT)
This may have been discussed extensively on here at
some point before my time, so forgive me if I'm asking
about something that's already been beaten to death.
What are the first signs of RSI? The backs of my hands
and forearms are sometimes very sore after working on
the computer all day. I find better posture,
especially with the mouse, helps.
I just purchased Dragon NaturallySpeaking to minimize
mouse and keyboard usage at home. I have heard that
using a graphics tablet can drastically reduce strain
due to mousing.
