That's a very good point.  I know we keep up with the OS solutions, not
because we want to emulate them, or because we would every become OS, but
because we want to stay a step ahead of them.  Remember that most OS
development is done when you have free time from doing something else to
make money.  When you are pushed for time, which one are you going to focus
on?  Which one would you drop because you just don't have time?
