[The Gist: single-source .CHM generated from RH WinHelp 9.2 won't respond to C# calls; this is a post for RoboHelp and C# guru-types...]

I have a project I created using RoboHelp 9.2 for WinHelp 9.2 Build 534. I now to use it as context-sensitive help for an application created with C# (.NET), so I used the Single Source function to generate a .CHM project.

However, the .CHM thus generated will not respond to calls from within the C# application. The developer can successfully call topics from a test .CHM that she made on her own.

For example: the call

Help.ShowHelp(this,"Help.chm",HelpNavigator.KeywordIndex,"Ticket:creating")

does not work for my .CHM, but a similar call works for her test .CHM.

So:
-Is it possible to generate a .CHM from my project using RH 9.2 that will work with C#?

-If so, what calls are *supposed* to work?

-If not, should I upgrade to RH X5, or just to RH Office for .NET?

-And, finally, if I do have to upgrade, can I convert my existing WinHelp 9.2 project into an X5 or .NET HTML Help project that will respond properly to C# calls?

Many thanks for any input on this.
