Martin I would think this is more widespread than just your local area. I heard an economist on the local NPR affiliate earlier this week discussing the job growth here in Florida. To my surprise he said that there was a 71% increase in professional service sector jobs over the same period last year (then again, last year was the year of the hurricane "ménage a trois" in our area), and a much smaller increase in hospitality sector jobs.
Our local STC chapter also sends out an e-mail to members every time they become aware of TW postings in the area, and I must get three or four such notices each week, sometimes with multiple job listings in each e-mail.
