Sadly, I think I did too. Here's what they said:
"The <acronym> team performed an assessment of the integration
interfaces of the <acronym> projects based on criteria used to determine
the level of schedule risk and technology risk to the program and
projects and has recommended integration technologies for the individual
projects as described in the attached documents."
Here's what they meant:
"We tested all of these systems designed to get all of our crap
working together seamlessly, and, well, it didn't pass muster. We need
something better, and conveniently, we have a few ideas."
Imagine how much simpler our jobs would be if management used phrasing
like mine instead of the original example. :)
