I had an almost 180 degree different experience where I am now. I was
in under an agency and recently, converted to 1099 with a rate
increase, which means I not only get a gross increase, but I know
keep the money that was going to the agency.

payment terms, required notice (for both sides), etc. I answered the
questions and returned it back to legal.
The contract I received to sign about 3 days later was as if my
answers in the questionaire were plugged into slots in the contract
form.
