Web site for inexpensive stock photos and clipart?
Subject:Web site for inexpensive stock photos and clipart? From:Steven Oppenheimer <Steven -at- OppenheimerCommunications -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Sun, 25 Dec 2005 18:25:58 -0500
There is a Web site out there which has inexpensive stock photos and
clipart -- inexpensive meaning less than $10 per photo. I know it's out
there, because at one of my contracts the director of marketing referred me
to the site. Unfortunately, now that I need it for my own purposes, I
can't recall what it is.
I just checked out one site, clipart.com, which claims to cost less than $1
per picture -- but in fact, it turns out you have to subscribe for a period
of time, so the pictures are only that cheap if you download a considerable
number of pictures. The site I'm thinking simply charges a flat fee per
picture. (As a further clue -- I think the way the site works is that
photographers upload their pictures, and get a royalty on each download.)
Any leads would be appreciated.
