Subject:Importing HTML File into FrameMaker From:"Keith Hansen" <KRH -at- weiland-wfg -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 3 Jan 2006 11:07:44 -0600
I know it's easy to convert a FrameMaker file into an HTML file using
"Save As" in FrameMaker.
But what is the easiest method to go the other way--to import an HTML
file into FrameMaker? When I use "File . . . Import . . . File" in
FrameMaker, HTML is not listed among the file types.
I can convert the HTML file into a Word file and then import. There
also seems to be something called an MIF file that allows you to
exchange data between FrameMaker and other applications; I know next to
nothing about MIFs.
Any comments/suggestions? Perhaps I've missed something very obvious
here?!
Thanks much!
Keith
