Hi John

I'm what one might call a "light" SnagIt user. While I do find the features interesting and very helpful, I'm wondering how you achieve what you listed with a "single keystroke". I'm assuming you meant to convey that you somehow have managed to configure it to do all that with a capture profile or something? Is there a tutorial or help topic in SnagIt that explains this?

I also had never heard of Stardock, so I Googled it to see what it was. Seems to be a plethora of things, none of which are really a single product known as "Stardock", but the name of a company. However, I could see some of them *possibly* being useful, but not to the extent SnagIt can be. ;)

Thanks... Rick :)

Sample of something it does easily with a single keystroke
combination:

Capture a screen's dropdown menu, convert everything on the menu to
appear active, change the screen background to a differt shade of
blue, reduce the amount of colors to a 256 web safe pallete, add 1
pix border around the image, and automatically preface the file name
with an application prefix to a directory on a shared network drive.

Try that with Alt-PrtScrn
