I agree with Al's comments.

I've learned that the only thing you have control over is to offer your
input and suggestions and do your job the best you can; the rest is up
to upper management.

If you notice things aren't changing for the better that is an
indication that the company's focus is on other priorities. If this is
the case, this is not the time to spend extra efforts trying to improve
matters.

As "they" say, you need to learn to "go with the flow."
