Just one man's opinion, but I have stopped reading the "Idiot" and "Dummies"-type books, because I find the breezy tone extremely annoying. They often seem to say in 100 words something that could just as easily be said in 10, and when looking for help with a new concept, I am an impatient reader. For what it's worth.
