That said, I have been with my current employer for over four years, which
is the longest I've stayed with a company. I left the other companies due
to many reasons, but much of them stemmed from the fact that my career was
going nowhere. I have many growth opportunities with my current employer,
and I plan to stay for a while. Most designers in my office have been here
for a while, and I expect they will stay for a while longer. Turnaround is
minimal. However, I write for a manufacturing company, not software
development. That may put a spin on the numbers.
