At a previous place of employment, the head of engineering decided that only he could write the online Help. In addition to making it a narrative, he would sprinkle the text with "amongst" and "whilst." Between that and a junior engineer giving us a regular half hour update on the latest from Rush Limbaugh, it was enough to make you want to leave. Hey wait, I did leave....and so did a number of other good people. As far as I know, those left still get the latest from Rush whilst they sit amongst the empty coffee cups in the break room.
