Input.
It tends to be overused. Some people love to use it both as a verb and as a
noun (input the input). Also, if anyone ever tells me they "appreciate my
input", I usually nterpret that to mean I've just wasted my time, because
their mind is already made up (kind of like "So, who cares what you think?")
The word "epiphany" is starting to bug me too. I have several friends who
are having "an epiphany" at least once a week. Geez!!
Actually I have a few more, usually pretentious words, often used to impress
others (but not necessarily me), along with invented words, but thinking
about them will set a bad tone for the rest of the day. I'll just mention
one more...
"documentalist" - if anyone in my company calls me that one more time......
I swear I'll explode!!!
