I spent over 25 years in the Army and the use of acronyms throughout the
Department of Defense is acronymonious.

About a year ago I joined a Very Large Company and my pet peeve is not
so much words as it is the acronymphomania that is so pervasive. I wish
I could find a Powerpoint presentation I saw not so long ago which had
one slide that was almost totally and completely acronyms. If there were
ten actual words on this slide, I'd eat it.
