So when I see:

Microsoft Manual of Style
for Technical Publications
Version 3.0

I'm actually looking at the 2nd addition?

There never was a CHM version of the MS Manual of Style 3rd edition.
That was build 3 of the CHM for the 2nd edition.

How strange. The 3rd edition of the Microsoft Manual of Style was
already available as an easy-to-use CHM file. Why would they create an
e-book?
