I used VP in the late 80s-early 90s and then moved to Pagemaker etc. VP
was good in its time, but once other applications started to include DTP
functionality along with authoring/editing capabilities, the need for a
stand-alone DTP program declined.

If I recall, Ventura Publisher was around as far back as the late 1980s,
but I rarely hear it mentioned today. What percent of the market does
it have compared to FrameMaker? Again, just curious...
Corel seems to pick up all the superstar software of yesteryear. (Don't
they have WordPerfect and Quattro Pro too?)
