> 1. How aware are you of color blindness?
Unaware, apart from that many animals are color blind.
> 2. How much do you understand about color blindness (causes,
> misconceptions, results)?
Nothing, apart from the replies in this post, and that many animals are
color blind. If you had told me color-disabled individuals have gray eyes, I
would have believed it (well, not really...).
> 3. How much of an affect and what affects do you believe color
> blindness has on your audience.
I think I may have some diagrams showing network traffic paths, which may
not be very clear for color blind readers.
> 4. What steps do you take to limit the problems caused by color
> blindness?
None. What do you recommend?
> 5. (This one is just for my own kicks and giggles) Are you or a
> technical communicator you know color blind?
No, how can you tell? ;)
Seriously, you mentioned 12%, which I find very hard to believe because I
actually never met anyone who's color blind.
6. Isn't it "colorblind" instead of "color blind", hence "colorblindness"
instead of "color blindness"?
