> This is the same jerk who used to spout Rush Limbaugh's daily spasms
> for the whole editing and production office to hear. What a gem.
I worked for a similar company, except it was the major shareholder (and
senior engineer) and a junior engineer who would give the rest of the
company half-hour updates of Rush. (They would converse in the middle of
engineering at a voice level guaranteed to invade everyone's cubicles.)
However, this same company supplied coffee (decaf and the real deal) and
tea for everyone, ice cream bars/cones regularly during the hot summer,
and monthly catered lunches and had great medical and dental benefits, and
free gym memberships. Since nobody with at least one brain cell would ever
take Limbaugh (or any political talk show host for that matter) literally,
most of us made runs to the break room for coffee during the updates, ate
the ice cream, pigged out on the BBQs, got our teeth cleaned regularly and
spent many hours in the gym preparing for the next ice cream orgy and BBQ.
Although I left that company, I understand that the regular updates
evaporated shortly after the stuff from DeLay was hitting the media.
Ironically, I got my best edits from that junior engineer.
