Re: Frame's graphics "tool"
Illustrator does not seem to have a way to control the canvas size, something I need.
I don't have visio.
I think I will download corel draw.
You can scale the image in either CorelDraw or Illustrator. If you do a copy/paste special, and the image has been scaled to the size you need, you should have no problems. If you just copy/paste, then you'll end up with an image that is HUGE regardless of whether you use Illustrator or CorelDraw. Personally, I've had no problems placing tags on images in FrameMaker and having them stay with the image. The key (and someone said it earlier in this thread) is to ensure the tags are inside the anchor frame.
You may not need a new tool. If you do decided on a new tool, then you have to decide on what type of file type you will use (GIF, JPG, TIFF, EPS, etc.). Read Fred Ridder's reply for problems associated with imported graphic files.
