Many moons ago, one of my nieces saw me wearing a red striped shirt. She
got all excited and shouted, "I have a shirt just like that--only
different!" I still tease her about that more than 25 years later. (I
almost said "some 25 years later," but I corrected myself. LOL)
I absolutely hate when people hypercorrect and use the word "I" when
they should use "me." For example: "The letter was addressed to Frank
and I." A friend of mine (who subscribes to this list!) does this all
the time, and it drives me nuts. It's okay to use the word ME! In fact,
it's required sometimes!
