Thanks for giving me an excuse to vent about a
phrase I heard yesterday morning on the tram:
"...for some apparent reason" when what was meant
was clearly "for no apparent reason." Took an effort
of will not to leap across the aisle and shake the
person while saying "You ignorant twit - if there
was any apparent reason *then you know why*!!!"
