What Energizes You? Was: What Pet Peeve makes you puke?

I find the following to be very energizing:

*  Projects where I am able to focus on the essential
- that is TW work that enables me to deprioritize the
trivial and, right away, get to that core 5% of a
systems functionality that is really worth knowing.

*  In my personal life, stock market analysis
techniques that do the same thing - help me to focus
on the essential, and to deprioritize all the
trivialities in the markets that can eat up so much
time while providing little payback.
