First, what type of application is it (what's it developed in)?
Knowing what they are developig in will let us know how your
developers need to work with you.
Second, what type of help format are you delivering, and which version
of WWP are you using? This info will help determine whether you need
to use Filename markers or TopicAlias markers.

Depends on who is providing the map IDs. If the developers are, then
they give you a header file containing the map IDs and you use that in
your WWP project. If you are giving them map IDs, or filenames, you
need to add them as markers to your topics and generate a list to give
to them.

We all start somewhere. :-)
