Regarding size of bullets....
Have you considered just reducing the size of the bullets?

I still think the guy picked on the "big fat bullets" just
to raise an issue for a power play. It's not the size of
the bullets, it's Who Is In Control Of The Tech Writer.
There's some other agenda that's not the document.
