I've been converting Word 2003 documents with active hyperlinks through
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 using the Distiller Printer Driver (Print > Adobe PDF).
And, I've kept the compatibility set to 5.0 and above. Actually this has
worked very well for me until now.
I have two documents that convert and function properly -- EXCEPT that now
I'm told someone who has Adobe Standard 6.0 and Adobe 6.0 can't open the
links. He says the hand still shows, and that the links look active. But
when he clicks on them, nothing happens. I - and others I know - have been
able to open the links to the web browser (links go to websites) with no
problem.
I can't imagine what might be causing this.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a setting I'm missing, that would
make the document more universally functional?
Thanks
