Subject:Linking from HTML to bookmarks within PDFs From:"Puffer, Paula \(Paula\)" <Paula -dot- Puffer -at- ElPaso -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Wed, 10 May 2006 14:11:01 -0500
I'm working here to help do Manual conversions from Word Files to three
formats - PDF, HTML and an executable zip file that contains the PDF for
download to the engineers so they can access a particular manual without
being connected to a server.
I've got one manual where there are references from the chapter files to
specific subsections in another reference document. Because of the need
to link across formats (and maintain the links), I'm thinking the best
option is making the reference document a PDF and then linking to sub
areas within the PDF. However, I can't find information about how to do
this.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
