My wife is especially sensitive to a few fragrances. For example, if someone
is wearing Lady Stetson her lungs practically lock up and she prays she can
get to an inhaler pretty quickly. On top of that, she's guaranteed to have a
secondary reaction 6-8 hours later, often when during the middle of the
night, meaning her sleep is compromised and she's trashed for the next day,
too. She's only classified as a borderline asthmatic at most, but there's
just a couple of things that really hit her hard. Like was mentioned
earlier, many people don't realize how much perfume they're wearing and if
you've been around her long, it's likely you it doesn't stand out as much to
you either. Even if it really is a tiny amount, if it's enough to bother
someone she should have the common courtesy to accomodate them.
