It would be appreciated if anyone give me a tip or contact infomation.
This is about using InDesign CS. I hope you will put me through another InDesign specialist whom I can contact please ;-(
We have been specializing in e-book user manuals for our client and encounterd with a font problem converting an InDesign file to the Macromedia Flash file format. The problem is that the converted flash file does not support search option. User can not type in the Find text box.
As a methods:
1) we use InDesign files to create a Flash file using the Open Type fonts.
2) An InDesign file is converted as a Flash file using the Macromedia Flash Player.(Atteached file shows how)
3) Then the converted Flash file does not support the search option which was no problem with the PDF format.
I am wondering if the Open type fonts are not available in the Flash file format.
Open type fonts seems ok while viewing the text. However, it seems the Open type fonts are not competible with the search function.
Attached you will find a screen capture concerning my question.
Thank you in advance.
