Sometimes Word 2002 gets into a strange state where a sentence or two
doesn't respond properly to justification. One of the magic tricks that
occasionally works is selecting the whole paragraph and doing the "clear
formatting" command on it. It's at the top of the Styles tab, and
sometimes it catches whatever is making the text look odd.
I'd also check for non-breaking spaces in your text.

Subject: Justified Text Problem
In Word 2002, I have a paragraph of justified text that looks perfect
except
for one sentence that has spacing problems. Is there a way to align just
that one sentence left, thus correcting the problem, without Word
left-aligning the entire paragraph? Is there another way to achieve the
same
result?
