Not having been a Mac user for a number of years (not since
the early Power PC Macs), I wasn't sure whether there had
been a 7.x release for Mac. But the point remains: just
because Adobe no longer sells new, shrink-wrapped copies
of FrameMaker for Macintosh doesn't mean that there is no
possibility of upgrading to something newer than 5.5.6.

Well, gee, there *is* also a 7.1 version for Mac as well and ebay usually
has versions of just about anything from time to time (even legal ones ;)
