Better yet, make sure the company has a regulatory group or
certification service reviewing all their documents, and that
your contract specifically states that you are doing "work for
hire" and the company owns all the docs. Medical/pharma
documentation is one area (the other big one is is aviation) where you as a writer do *not* want to retain any ownership of the work you produce.
