Subject:Usefulness of Grant Writing to APMC? From:"Karl Ben" <karl -dot- ben -at- gmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Wed, 23 Aug 2006 13:36:49 -0500
Members,
Good afternoon. My wife is a local pediatrician with a large volume medical
practice, located in a small (pop. less than 5,000) southern city. She
expressed an interest in grant writing--and specifically enrolling me in the
local university's business division grant writing offerings--but I am at a
loss as to what, or rather how APMC (A Professional Medical Corporation)
might benefit from grant writing. I have always associated grant writing
with nonprofits. Of course, this community of technical writers would know.
Looking forward to your responses.
Thanks, Karl
